Southewest with a connection to Omo and Rift valley- Jima, Tum, Tulgit, Surma, Arbaminch, Konso, Jinka, Mursi village, Turmi, Karo, hammer village, Erbore, yabello, Awassa/Langano, Abijata –shalla NP, Debrezeit crater lakes (16 Days and 15 Nights).
Day 1: Addis Abeba- Arrival Addis Abeba and City tour.
Day 2: Addis Abeba to Jima- Drive form Addis Abeba to Jima crossing the Gibe river valley. Jimma is one of the best places for coffee production. It was in the region of kaffa coffee 1st discovered. Overnight hotel
Day 3: Jima to Tum- After breakfast, drive to Tulgit via Gomor Tea plantaton to visit the Surma people who have similar culture, tradition and belief with the omo Mursi tribes. Overnight camping.
Day 4: Tum to Kibish- More time in the village of the Surma people then head to Kibish for another settelemt of the Surma people. Have time there and Overnight camping.
Day 5: Kinbish- Full day in kibish with a visit of more villages and attending their stick fighting ceremony known as Donga/ Dueling (chance fully). O/n camping.
Day 6: Kibish to Mizan- Drive to Mizan. Overnight hotel or camping.
Day 7: Mizan to Jima
Day 8: Jima-Arbaminch- Drive from Jima to Arbaminch through a wonder full landscape, lunch in Wollaita town. Then head to the Chencha to the village of Dorzie. Overnight hotel or lodge.
Day 9: Arbaminch- Full day in Arbaminch. Morning game drives in Nechi Sar Np. After noon boat trip over lake Chamo to view Hippos, crocodiles and some Birds. Overnight hotel or lodge.
Day 10: Arbaminch to Turmi- After an early morning breakfast drive to Turmi via Konso village. Lunch picnic in woito village. After lunch, proceed to the villages of Erbore and then to the Hammer people.Overnight lodge.
Day 11: Turmi- Full day in Turmi. Morning drive to Koricho village to see the karoo people. After noon attend the market of the Hammer people in Turmi. (If Monday) or drive to Dimaka to see another color full market day of the Hammer, Dassanch and Karoo (if Saturday). Overnight lodge.
Day 12: Turmi- Early morning drive to Omorate crossing the Omo River by a wooden boat to see the Dassanch people. After noon back to Turmi and watch the Bull jumping ceremony and Evangadi Dance of the Hammer people and walk around in to their village. Overnight lodge.
Day 13: Turmi to konso- Have your breakfast in your lodge then precede Konso via Key After market (if Thursday) or direct through the Erbore village. Lunch; picnic in Woito village or anywhere on the way check in to your lodge. After a break, walk through the village of the Konso people. Overnight lodge.
Day 14: konso to Yabello- Drive to Yabello to the region of the Borena Oromos'. Lunch in Yabello. In the afternoon, excursion to Elsod village to watch the Borenas how they watering their cattle from the deepest wheel then continue to Chew Bet saline lake where they extract salt form the lake. Back and Overnight lodge.
Day 15: Yabello Awassa/langano- On the way visit Tutu Fella archeological site. Overnight Awassa/ Langano beach.
Day 16: Awassa/langano to Addis Abeba- Departure. Drive back to Addis Abeba visiting on the way the Abijata shall Np, and lake Ziway. Lunch on the way. late in the afternoon, arrive in Addis Abeba then time for shopping and relax. In the evening, dinner at traditional restaurant. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home. End of the tour.
