Historic routes by flight Lalibela, Aksum, Gondar, Bahirdar and excursion to the Semin mountains (9 Days and 8 Nights)

Day 1: Addis Abeba Arrive Addis Abeba, transfer to the hotel. City tour.

Day 2: Addis Abeba to Lalibela- Fly from Addis Abeba to Lalibela. Visit the 1st group of churches.Overnight hotel.

Day 3: Lalibela- Full day in Lalibela. Morning, Mule trekking to Asheten Mariam semi monolithic or drive for an excursion to Yimrehane Kirstos cave church or Genet Mariam semi monolithic church. After noon more site seeing of the 2nd group of Churches in Lalibela. Overnight hotel.

Day 4: Lalibela to Aksum- Fly from Lalibela to Aksum. City tour in Aksum.

Day 5: Aksum- Full day in Aksum. Morning excursion to the moon temple of Yeha. After noon, more site seeing in Aksum. Overnight hotel.

Day 6: Aksum to Gondar- Fly from Aksum-Gondar.after noon city tour of the royal enclosure, the bath of king fasiledes and the church of Debrebirhan sillasie. Overnight hotel.

Day 7: Gondar- Morning drive to the Semin Mountain NP. And wonder around to view the spectacular landscape and the endemic Gelada Baboons. Lunch picnic in the park and drive back to Gondar via the Fellasha village where the black Ethiopian Jewish people used to live. Overnight hotel.

Day 8: Gondar to Bahirdar- Drive form Gondar to Bahirdar. afternoon boat trip over Lake Tana to the island monasteries and churches. Overnight hotel.

Day 9: Bahirdar to Addis Abeba- In the morning, drive to the Blue Nile river falls, back to Bahirdar for lunch then transfer to the airport for your flight to Addis Abeba. In the evening, Dinner at traditional restaurant accompanied by live folkloristic dance. Transfer to Bole International airport for your departure home. End of the tour
