Historic route, sector flight and surfaces Bahirdar, Gondar, Axum, Yeha and Tigray rock hewn churches (11 Days and 10 Nights)

Day 1: Addis Ababa- Arrive Addis Ababa, transfer to the hotel, city tour. Overnight hotel

Day 2: Addis Abeba to Bahir Dar- Fly to Bahir Dar. AM drive to the Blue Nile Falls and PM boat trip over Lake Tana to the Island monasteries. Overnight hotel

Day 3: Bahir Dar to Gondar- Drive to Gondar and do site seeing in the afternoon with a visit of castles and churches. Overnight hotel.

Day 4: Gondar to Aksum- Drive to Axum passing through the black Jewish village and the Semien Mountains. Overnight hotel

Day 5: Aksum- Full day in Axum and visit underground tombs, bath and ruin palace, Church, stele parks and so on.

Day 6: Aksum to Mekele- Drive to Mekele via the Yeha temple; Debre Damo monastery, where men climb with ropes for about 16 meters. Women are not allowed, churches as Abreha-we-Atsbeha & Wikro Cherkos. Overnight hotel in Mekele

Day 7: Mekele to Lalibela- Drive to Lalibella, via Sekota landscape and Lake Ashengie. Overnight Lalibella

Day 8: Lalibela- Full day in Lalibela visiting the Rock-hewn churches.

Day 9: Lalibela- Full day in Lalibela, Morning mule trekking to Asheten Mariam or drive to Yimrehane Kirstos cave church. Afternoon more visit of lalibela and excursion to Naktule'ab cave church

Day 10: Lalibela to Addis Ababa- fly back to Addis Ababa, the rest of hours, more city tour in Addis Abeba. Dinner at traditional restaurant with folklorist dance. Overnight hotel

Day 11: Departure- Transfer to the airport for your departure home. End of the tour.
